

Funktions specialises in creating the perfect setting for your unique occasion, whether it be the wedding of your dreams, corporate entertainment or a themed dinner party at the venue of your choice for up to 400 guests or indeed your home, private dinner parties are catered for from 20 guests upwards, we can organise for you to have a personal chef for the evening and waiting staff if you wish as an addition to our standard decoration service.
We have worked within the wedding and events industry for the last 8 years and have been involved in over 1000 events, we are only too aware of how a well designed theme can make a party and add the finishing touches to your special occasion.
We offer a Bespoke service, from design to completion, we start with a free consultation either at the venue of your choice or in your home.
We fully understand that everyone's lives are hectic and are happy to meet with you out of office hours to ensure that our service to you causes the least amount of disruption.
After deciding on a theme for your event, we will go back and source new ideas specifically for you, we would then have an additional meeting with you to go through ideas, bringing swatches and photographs if needed. If you decide to go ahead with the booking we would take care of everything from there, we would organise venue dressing, table dressing and entertainment if you need us to. On the day of the function we would go along to the venue and set out your tables, we offer a stationary service for the day and are happy to provide you with table numbers / names and place names if required and would put these out too, ensuring that we are clear on your table plan and who should be sitting where. Our aim is to make your special day as stress free as possible.
If you have hired table linens from us and the venue need them in advance this is not a problem, we are happy to liaise with venues directly to organise drop of and pick up times that are suitable to them.

Please note that we offer a chair cover hire service from £2.50 per cover including a coordinating sash, we have chair covers and sashes in a wide variety of colours and are happy to meet up and bring swatches, this price includes our service of setting up the chair covers and sashes on the morning of the event and collecting the following morning.
